NTMC; Black skull studd necklace.

Recently I have been ordering a lot from Ebay, and so is my boyfriend… I like to buy gadgets and cute stuff that probably are useless, but It’s fun to have! So I buy it anyway. At first I didn’t have a Ebay account nor a Pay-Pal account, so I made my bf buy everything hehe 🙂 Now I’ve seen so much things I’d like, I had to make my own account. But right now I have my credit card connected to my Pay-Pal account.. It’s not a smart move I’d have to say… It makes it so much easier to buy things online, TOO easy I would almost say. The good thing about having an credit card connected to your Pay-Pal account; easy access to The cheap accessories! I really love to buy accessories from the internet, and especially from Ebay. They are extremely cheap, mostly come from China or Hong Kong, and are the same quality as in store over here. In store you probably buy a necklace for at least 8 euro’s. But this beautiful necklace I got for almost 2 USD.

Check it out:

They all do move individually, so it can be annoying since they won’t be in place all the time.

These days I like to wear choker necklaces too. (short necklaces narrow around your collar/neck) It looks nice when I wear a blouse all buttoned up, it gives it something extra. I do have to say that some products on Ebay look nice on pictures but feel and look really cheap in real. So be careful with that! And also; Most of the products take 4 weeks shipping, depending on where you want it shipped to. But to Holland it usually takes 3/4 weeks! So if you’re willing to wait for it…

And also: For people in Holland, Ideal is now available on Pay-Pal, so you can transfer your money easily to Pay-Pal now without having to wait too long.

Happy Ebay Shopping!

Fancy.com – 3D Skull iPhone case.

Recently I discovered http://www.thefancy.com. It’s a great site for gifts, clothing, gadgets, accessories and just fun stuff. I love to scroll and see all the things they have on the website. They basically collect products that are out of the ordinary or have a special design. They also have an app in the Apple Appstore and in Androids google play. The products are great, and the good thing is you can see where to buy it! Normally when I see things I like on Tumblr, I wonder where in the world I could get it. But on Fancy, you see what brand it’s from and therefore you know where to look for it. I do have to add; It’s quite pricy. But hey, if you want something pretty it’s gonna cost you!

Like this 3D Skull case; Fancy.com- 3D Skull iPhone case. I FANCY it! Too bad i don’t own an iPhone anymore…:(

I was checking some songs for my internship at WORM. (www.worg.org) When I saw the name of this song I thought i didn’t know the song! And then I heard it and i remember the sound of the strings. So I searched on the internet and i remember it from The OC. I loved that series. And I Love the song. Enjoy!

PS. I know the video kind of sucks haha but It’s all about the music.

Event; The XX Concert in Antwerp.

Hey there!

It has been quite some time since I’ve posted something. I’m terribly sorry about that! But i have been busy with school and finding an internship and so on.. So i haven’t had any time to post anything. I’ll try to catch up on that i promise 😉

On 21th of November 2012 I visited Antwerp. And not just for the vintage stores but for The XX concert! My boyfriend bought us tickets as a surprise!
I love them so much! I know every friggin song on both of their albums…hehe. If you don’t know them you should definitely check them out!

The XX grid

I did not expect it to be in a large location or anything. Since they have been kind of underground. But they have worked their way up the past two years and this was their biggest show. So happy i could be there! It was at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp. When you buy a ticket for the Lotto Arena you can travel the tram and bus for free. That was a great thing!

After waiting for almost an hour outside, they finally let us in! We went straight for the shop and bought ourselves a t-shirt. I thought it was kind of overpriced, 25 euro’s, for a simple shirt with printing on it.

But I’m so happy I bought it, since it’s a great souvenir for this great memory that it was gonna become.

The support act was quite weird… I’m kind of used to weird things but this one just really didn’t fit inside my brain full of weirdness. The name of the band was Austra. There were three female singers and 2 guys supporting them with the synths, keyboard and guitar. It looked very random since they were all dressed totally differently. It also took me 10 minutes to figure out that they were singing in English! So all together it was alright, but not that amazing.

After Austra left, it was time for the XX! I was so excited 🙂 And my excitement didn’t turn into disappointment while they came on. The whole show was amazing. And that is what it was a SHOW! They were all dressed in black, they had a great setup with the tables for Jamie XX to use the instruments and the lights really added a little something to the show. I believe it was the best performance I’ve ever seen. But maybe that’s because I Love their music so much. I wish i could relive that night right now, I’m getting excited all over again while fixing up this post.

It was a great concert! If I ever get the chance to see them again I would definitely GO 😀

NTMC: Ladies Market goodies!

At the ladies market, Mongkok, Hong kong I bought alot of stuff. They would be lovely as a cute souvenir or just very handy for own use!

So this is what i bought ;

There was a lot of stuff to buy there so it was very hard for me not to buy much.. I think i did great! (not counting the ones that are still on their way with HKPost :$)

I bought 2 iPhone cases. One for 4/4s and one for 3Gs. Well actually one is a bumper not a case. It was really hard to find one for the 3Gs, they rarely sell them, and if they do it’s hard to find one that’s nice looking. I bought these for 38 HKD each, that’s a reasonable price. But remember you can always bargain if you buy more! So if you’re with friends and they want to buy some products too, its better to wait for them and buy it all at once. That way you can knock a couple dollars off the price.

A Domo Pouch for coins and cards! For 19 HKD, that’s not even 2 euro’s. In Holland they would totally sell it for 8 or more!

2 Rilakkuma passport holders. I really love Rilakkuma! It’s so adorable haha. My inner  happy Chinese girl  just popped up when i saw it in Hong Kong. They don’t sell it much over here, i guess it’s not that popular. I bought these for 19 HKD each.

2 Bracelets. I bought them 25 HKD each. That is almost as cheap as you can get it over there. ( but you can get a lower price if you buy more! ) They all sell a lot of products alike, so it’s not a problem if they won’t agree with your bargain. You just walk away and try at another stand. Mostly when you walk away they even call you back and tell you to name any price! I went to the first stand that was selling bracelets, they said 60 HKD each. So i walked away, just testing the lady. She called me back and ended up saying 30 HKD. I walked away and went to another stand and bought it for 25 HKD each!

And last but not least; Cell phone plugs! I don’t remember how much i bought this for.. haha forgive me. You plug these in the hole where you normally plug your earphones. It’s a cute accessory for your phone. These come in 2, for couples I assume 🙂

That was it for the ladies market! Hope you enjoyed and don’t forget to bargain!

Love

Hong Kong; Shopping.

Hey you guys! Sorry I haven’t been posting anything lately. Right now I’m in Melbourne, Australia! But I still have some things I’d like to tell you about Hong Kong first.. So I’ll go ahead and do that first before I head on to beautiful Australia.

Because of Typhoon Vicente that struck Hong Kong the time I was spending over there, I was not able to do a lot of sightseeing. Even though the Typhoon only lasted for two days, the rain and wind kept on going. I had to spend most of my time inside Hong Kong shopping malls. Luckily they have quite a few, so I could still proceed my buying process :D. I’m going to discuss a few I liked!

The one that struck me the most is the mall at Sha Tin, well actually It’s not just one mall, 3 malls are combined for a big indoor shopping spree! And when you arrive at metro station Sha Tin, you don’t have to look any further, It’s connected to the station! You can easily spend a whole day here without going outside, there is a food court so the food and drinks are fully covered. There is even an arcade! But most importantly they have a restroom where you can do your business 😉  and freshen up for the heavy shopping you’re going to do! The 3 malls combined are; Hilton Plaza, New Town plaza and Citylink Plaza.

A mall with more expensive brands is Times Square shopping center. (metro station Causeway Bay, at this station you can also find Forever 21!) It is a very nice looking shopping center. With brands like Alexander Wang, Alexander McQueen, Gucci, Celine and so on. There is a similar shopping center at Central metro station with famous brands too; including Dior, Fendi and Manolo Blahnik.

Langham’s Place is a shopping mall connected to the Mongkok metro station. It has various stores, from expensive to just average. They have an H&M and a Monki store there. The thing I love the most in this shopping center is the Food court on the 4th story. They have a lot of Asian food up there; like: Korean and Taiwanese. I love the place called “Pepper lunch” the most. The food is served on a hot plate and you have to stir and mix it all yourself. That way you can decide how long your meat is grilled and how you like your rice. Especially the Steak Beef is nice, that is all I ever ate when I got there :$.

The mall I bought the most stuff at is New Town mall also in Mong Kok. It’s not that big but there are a lot of cute, fun and affordable stuff you want to buy right away! The first time I came here, not a lot of shops were open, because it was around 10 pm. But the day after I came during the daytime to have a closer look at the shops and what they have to offer. They have a lot of stuff for girls, like clothing and a lot of purses, but they also sell accessories for your phone and other small stuff that you can also buy at the Ladies Market.(also in Mong Kok)  I obviously bought most of my stuff here gehehe. :3

If you’re interested in buying stuff for your phone or iPad and other small stuff like stuffed animals or bracelests. Womens market at Mong Kok is the place to be! You have to be feisty though, haggling will save you alot of money IF you can do it! Mostly you can get half price off. But you have to be persistent and prepared to walk away if they don’t give you the price you want.

I had to sent a lot of stuff home with HKpost, because my luggage was gonna explode! With HKpost you can sent your package home by surface (boat). I sent my package of 16 kilo’s home for 320 HKD. That is very cheap compared to DHL; DHL doensn’t even ship to Europe by surface.

I had a great shopping experience in Hong Kong and HKpost made it all even better! 🙂

Typhoon Hong Kong.

Right now it’s 02.14 AM in Hong Kong, but sleeping is not the thing on my mind right now.. Hurricane Vicente has reached a higher level than imagined this afternoon. The Typhoon was supposed to be just code 3 but had reached signal 10 two hours ago. The sounds of the city are quite disturbing; The heavy wind sounds, rain, sounds of things that let go of their building and the sirens make it impossible to sleep. But I’n going to try to ignore them and think about peacefull things! Hope that will help getting me my needed hours of sleep..
